Dr Mauritz Crouse, or Dr. Mo, as his patients like to call him, was born and raised in South Africa. Being the son of a General Dentist, Dr. Crouse had been introduced to all fields of dentistry from an early age. He realised that dentistry was also his future path and has focused his postgraduate studies specifically on paediatric dentistry as well as interceptive and myo-functional orthodontic dentistry. He graduated from University of the Western Cape`s Dental Department in South Africa in 2013, followed by a two-year post-graduate diploma in Interceptive Orthodontics at the same university. Dr. Crouse regularly practices in the above mentioned fields of dentistry and continue to develop his knowledge and skills on a continuous basis. His passion for continuing learning, staying at the forefront of dental techniques and his strong belief in “prevention is better than cure” led him to pursue a Masters Degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College of London. Dr. Crouse moved to the idyllic Cayman Islands with his family in 2019 and is a full time Associate Dentist at Pasadora Family Dental Centre. He is fluent in English and Afrikaans. Dr Crouse enjoys living a balanced and healthy lifestyle, travelling with his wife and son, and experiencing new cultures. Whenever there is a moment he loves spending time with his family and friends making a BBQ, relaxing on the beach or being outdoors. He also enjoys taking a jog, swimming, diving and appreciating Cayman`s beautiful weather.
